The Waldo Bar was honored to team up with Joe Losito’s Kicking Cancer fundraiser benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as part of our grand re-opening on April 11th, 2017. That evening the Waldo Bar donated 50% of customer purchases during the evening to Joe Losito’s efforts for the cause. We’ve tallied up the results and the check has been signed and presented to Joe and, thanks to our wonderful customers, we were able to donate $580 to the LLS for ongoing cancer research!
As part of the LLS campaign, Joe Losito has been nominated for the LLS Man of the Year in Kansas City, and we’re proud to be able to help raise money for his campaign. “At the end of the day, it’s all about raising money for cancer research, and I’m grateful for everyone who came out to support that,” said Joe. If you’d like to send a check for the cause in support of Joe’s LLS “Man of the Year” campaign you can find out more here.
